Merrymakers Night Market @ Walsh Family Wine Saturday, August 15th, 5-9 Join us for a colorful evening of local wine tasting and maker made shopping our first sunset market! Over the constant hustle culture? Come beat the heat and relax as you sip and shop at our first evening market. With a colorful Y2K theme, you'll come for the makers and stay for the nostalgia. At this Merrymakers Market we will have over 30 of the very best local vendors showcasing everything from handmade art and curated vintage to mouthwatering treats. Walsh Family Wine will be pouring their acclaimed wines, Pizzeria Loco will be on site serving up their insanely good pizzas, and Coffeemania will be slinging cold beverages to keep the heat at bay as you shop. Grab your tickets, mark your calendar and join us for a evening packed with good vibes and great finds! |

Kentlands Farmers Market Saturday, August 22nd, 9-1 Main Street Market is a long standing tradition in the Kentlands neighborhood. Located around the Main Street Pavilion at 301 Main Street, this farmers market is open year round 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. We have fresh locally grown fruits, vegetables and microgreens, mushrooms, plants & flowers. Take home savory prepared dinners, homemade breads & artisan sweet treats. Find your favorite drink with spirits, fresh ground coffee & onsite created juices. Take home some treats for your furry friends and shop our locally crafted Artists & Crafters tables. Enjoy live music by local musicians & songwriters on select Saturdays. |

Bel Air Festival of the Arts Sunday, September 13th, 9-5 The show includes some of the finest and most unique fine art, photography, and hand-made crafts on the east coast. The Festival features continuous live entertainment on the bandshell stage plus performers roving through the crowds. A wide variety of wonderful foods are available. Profits from food concession sales go directly to benefit Bel Air Parks and Recreation programs. Offering a great opportunity for early holiday shopping, as well as food, entertainment, and activities for the children, the Bel Air Festival for the Arts is an event the entire family will enjoy. |

Del Ray Art on the Avenue Saturday October 3rd 10:00-6:00pm Every year, thousands of visitors stroll down Mt. Vernon Avenue in Del Ray, Alexandria, greeted by more than 300 artists (jewelers, silversmiths & beaders, woodworkers, pottery makers, soap crafters, glass makers, unique painters, sculptors, fabric artists & more), musicians (Irish, folk, rock-n-roll, country & more), and food vendors (hot dogs, BBQ, Indian, Mexican, pizza, crab cakes, chocolate bananas dipped on sticks, homemade cider donuts & more). Kids activities have always been a vital part of the festival - stuff your own scarecrow, paint a pumpkin, lotus flower design, weave screen art, to name a few. |

Takoma Park Street Festival Sunday October 4th, 10-5pm The popular Takoma Park Street Festival returns for its 45th year of music, vendors, food and fun in Takoma Park. Festival goers will enjoy the day exploring over 185 vendor booths, live music from 18 local bands, food trucks and more. Takoma’s unique shops, restaurants and cafes are all open and welcoming visitors. Event is rain or shine. |

This juried art and music festival will feature art vendors, musical performances, food trucks, kids' activities, and demonstrations. The festival is free to attend, but the park's entry fee of $6 per car applies. |

Columbia LAKEFEST Festival of the Arts Fri, Sat + Sun June 12-14 (Fri 5-8, Sat 11-8, Sun 11-6) I'm thrilled to be making my debut at Columbia's LAKEFEST Festival of the arts this year! The Columbia Festival returns to the Downtown Columbia Lakefront with its FREE LakeFest Weekend featuring three days of live music, an invitational fine arts and crafts show, kids’ entertainment and crafts, a variety of activities for all ages, and fabulous festival food fare. LakeFest is produced by the Merriweather Arts and Culture Center as part their ongoing collaboration with the Columbia Festival of the Arts. |
